two touchdowns ... first catch was a 13-yard touchdown reception
against Missouri Western (9/15) that gave the Bearcats their largest lead of the game at 28-0 ... had a season-long 17-yard reception against Truman (9/22) ... caught a career-best three passes for 32 yards and a score against Southwest Baptist (9/29) ... score was an 8-yard pass from Blake Bolles that gave Northwest its 70th point of the game ... Freshman Season (2006):
Played in all 11 regular season games … Made one reception for two yards vs. Nebraska-Omaha (Sept. 9).

Harlan Community High School: Named to four newspaper First Team’s including the Des Moines Register Class 3A First Team ... Led his club to back-to-back state championship in final two seasons ... As a senior, had 686 receiving yards on 33 receptions (21 avg.) and caught seven TDs ... Compiled 27 carries for 230 rushing yards (8.5 avg.) and five TDs ... Had nearly 1,000 receiving yards (991) and went for 12 TD catches as a junior ... Held the highest grade point average on the football team ...
